NCO2V Heartland Greenway Update

As Heartland Greenway continues to discover innovative ways to support the agricultural community and value-added processors across the Midwest, carbon capture is a critical piece of that path forward. The Heartland Greenway will provide biofuel producers and other rural industrial manufacturers with a long-term and cost-effective means to reduce their carbon footprint, and unlock new economic opportunities for those end-products. Utilizing carbon capture increases the competitiveness of Iowa processors, provides valuable good-paying construction jobs and stimulates major economic benefits right here at home for Iowa communities and families for decades to come.
